Alternative cover/poster I designed for Kurt Vonnegut Jr’s brilliant novel Cat’s Cradle (1963). Possibly in the top three best novels I’ve read. Wanting to go for the whole nuclear bomb imagery of the novel, I became aware as I went along of a certain Dr Strangelove aesthetic, perhaps with a bit of Empire of the Sun to boot.
